JAEN is the largest town as the provincial capital in Andalusia with a Moorish past, famed for its biggest Moorish baths in the whole of Spain; although it seems a little uneventful being centered upon a main plaza and two side streets.
Highlights at Jaen
At the west side of the town plaza is a distinctive 17th century cathedral of Renaissance structure which is open daily and free for all to view. At the north side the artistically restored Hamam of Moorish origins (which is basically a Read More.....

The little town ICOD has one big attraction; that is, the gigantic dragon tree which looks like yucca known as El Drago. ICOD may be the oldest inhabited area on Tenerife Island, but it contains very little history. There are many 16th century houses that have ornate balconies which are a sight to behold, and they are situated right next to El Drago which makes exploring this part of the island easy by going straight to one location for all of its worthy sights.

FASCINATING VILLAGE OF El ROCIO By Tony Scot at 2010-11-11 00:48:14
|
El Rocio is known as the land of salt flats or the marismas, where this little village is situated north-west. The town is surrounded with marismas, as well as pine woods which attract flocks of birds, with nature trails around where one can see many species in this nature reserve. You will not find any tarmac roads in El Rocio, for the village is filled with sand everywhere, suiting the horses and ox-carts used by the locals or the farmers in the area.
